The KMA team are professional, highly experienced, friendly and caring. We’re here to help enhance performance and optimise well-being in your workplace.

Ergonomic Floor Walks (Up to a maximum of 30 mini assessments per day)

These comprise of 10-minute mini DSE workstation assessments. The purpose is to:

  • Make small postural corrections and adjust any existing equipment to ensure optimal positioning and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury
  • Highlight the need for further assessment/equipment provisions where an actual or potential risk is identified to help maintain workplace well-being

Lunch and Learn Presentations                                                                               

These are short presentations offered to employees during their lunchbreak. Your staff can eat their lunch whilst learning. Presentations will include a variety of topics which promote wellness at work such as:

  • The correct use of Display Screen Equipment, including laptop use, excessive mouse use, hot desking advice, home working and equipment adjustment
  • Travel advice – driving and travelling to/from and or during work
  • Emotional well-being/resilience i.e. managing stress in the workplace, introduction to mindfulness, building emotional resilience and relaxation

There will also be a Question and Answer session at the end of each presentation.

Musculoskeletal MOT Day                                                                                         

An information stand will be prominently sited in the foyer or reception area. Attending employees will receive:

  • Mini Musculoskeletal assessments with an emphasis on well-being
  • Question and Answer Sessions;
  • Access to ‘rapid MSK assessment’ to assess any injuries or ongoing musculoskeletal issues your employee is experiencing.

Visual Guides                                                                                            

Development of bespoke musculoskeletal injury prevention and well-being advice sheets focussing on prevention management for circulation throughout the business. These will be tailored to your individual business risks identified through job analysis. These guides will provide staff with an increased awareness of how their work habits can impact on their musculoskeletal health and emotional resilience. Small adjustments made to work habits can help to improve workplace well-being. In the longer term good workplace practices can help to reduce injuries, accidents, illnesses and sickness absence.

Posture Prompts – Ergonomic Workstation

  • Correct posture to adopt at the workstation
  • How to adjust key pieces of equipment (i.e. optimum desk and chair height etc)
  • A visual reminder particularly useful at hot desks

Gentle Stretching and Mobilisation                                                  

  • Outlines exercises which can be completed at your workstation
  • Maintains muscle and joint strength and flexibility whilst sitting for prolonged periods
  • Aids comfort and circulation
  • Prevention of musculoskeletal injuries

Break Reminder

  • Correct positioning and rest breaks in order to maintain health and well-being at the workstation

  • Benefits of healthy working i.e. increased productivity

Well-being Reminder

  • Approaches that will optimise workplace well-being
  • Checklist of daily activities to increase well-being
