Well, Kate Meads goes through just that!
As a mother of three, living with her children, her partner, her mother, and Nelson – her boxer dog, as well as running her own nationwide consultancy – life is, to put it mildly, busy!
In Carry On, Kate! she shares the lessons, challenges and stories that have shaped her life. As an Occupational Therapist, she knows just how easy it is to feel utterly overwhelmed.

About Kate Meads
Working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS where her positions have included Trust Lead, Chair of Heads of Professions and Advanced Clinical Specialist in Acute Mental Health enabled Kate to became very aware of the lack of understanding surrounding occupational therapy and it’s benefits, so in 2012 she decided to open her own private consultancy – KMA Occupational Therapy.
Kate brings a lot of experience in life and occupational therapy. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 1992, Kate relocated to New Zealand, where she worked as a Senior Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology. Since her return to the UK in 2004, Kate has worked extensively with insurance companies, working with people presenting with ill mental health and diagnoses, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain and catastrophic personal injuries. Kate has also worked within many roles in the NHS and has also completed the internationally recognised – Mental Health First Aider Training and trainer course.
