Learn More About Shelley Cooper – Occupational Therapist and MHFA National Trainer

Shelley is our Clinical Operations Manager. As an Occupational Therapist and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, she has a caseload of clients as well as making sure that the company runs as smoothly as possible. In addition, Shelley is also an instructor and national trainer delivering virtual and face to face MHFA England courses to a range of companies and individuals.  

Shelley had spent 15 years working for the NHS and joined KMA in 2013. She has a specialist interest in mental health and extensive experience working with individuals who present with complex mental health needs, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain and those who have sustained catastrophic personal injuries.

Shelley has worked in a variety of clinical and leadership roles throughout her career. She is skilled in offering comprehensive collaborative occupational therapy and vocational rehabilitation assessments and intervention. She is experienced in facilitating and coordinating partnerships between stakeholders (eg: employers, insurers, lawyers, unions and medical teams), in order to deliver an accountable, measurable service whereby client needs are prioritised. Shelley uses this extensive knowledge to enhance and inform during the MHFA training courses she delivers. Her style is approachable, engaging and informative.
