The Launch of Carry on Kate – The Podcast

We have some exciting news, we are launching a podcast! This is a project that Kate and her team have been really excited to share. With many months of planning and preparation, we are almost ready to launch.

Carry on Kate will be available to stream on Spotify and Apple music very soon.

Why a podcast?

With an ever-expanding audience, podcasting has proven to be a really effective digital tool whereby listeners can connect with businesses, brands and people by listening to their stories, tips, advice and expertise. So we thought why not start our own?!

In this blog, we wanted to talk to you about what Carry on Kate is about. It’s a podcast for everyone. It’s for those days that never seem to go right, for when the stress completely takes over and you don’t feel like you can carry on. This podcast is here to show you that you can!

Kate the Founder and Director of KMA Occupational Therapy may seem like she has it all together, but that certainly isn’t always the case. With over 22 years working in the field of occupational therapy and vocational rehabilitation, she certainly is an industry expert. She has worked in a variety of roles, ranging from Senior Lecturer at Auckland University, Trust Lead in the NHS and now Founder and Director of KMA Occupational Therapy.

But aside from her impressive work achievements, she’s a mother, a partner, a daughter, a friend and at the moment a project manager to her house renovation! Understandably she has a lot on her plate. But just like you and I, she can feel totally overwhelmed with juggling it all, and hey she never said she could juggle!

Kate not only has plenty of real-life experiences to share but as an Occupational Therapist, she has worked with clients all over the world to achieve what they want to do, by overcoming barriers and challenges they face, no matter how big, small, mental, physical, behavioural or environmental.

What else is possible, what does it mean?

Something that keeps Kate going is the mantra ‘what else is possible’. This requires you to shift your perspective; when things go wrong or things go right, what else is possible! How can we change our thoughts, feelings and approach to adapt to the situations we are presented with. If things are going well, how can we invite more success into our lives. Often it’s the small wins that make a big difference.

Keep your eyes peeled for our launch date and further details.
