At KMA, virtual assessments mean assessing/providing intervention sessions virtually over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. KMA have been working remotely for many years and will often use this model of working when assessing international clients.

Why are we using the virtual working model?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current restrictions associated with it, such as the new 6 person rule and local lockdowns, virtual working allows for us to operate as normal assessing new clients and providing intervention to our existing client base.

Virtual working is not only an extremely safe way of providing our Vocational Rehabilitation services, but it also means you will not incur any travel costs!

Will I still receive a high-quality assessment?

Yes, absolutely. Vocational Rehabilitation is what we specialize in and providing virtual services will not interfere whatsoever with the level of service we provide. You can rest assured that you will still receive the premier service for which KMA are renowned as our Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants are extremely skilled in delivering high-quality virtual services.

Following a virtual assessment will I still receive a report?

Yes, you will receive a full report following the virtual assessment, but please bear in mind this may take up to 10 working days to be completed.

KMA however, also offers a detailed summary letter option instead of a full report.  With a shorter completion time along with a reduced cost-benefit, this may suit your circumstances better.  Please enquire for more information.

What does Vocational Rehabilitation mean?

Vocational Rehabilitation is the process of assisting an employee back to work following a period of absence, possibly due to injury, illness or even furlough.  It can also be used to assess an employee’s home working situation and provide instant quick wins to increase productivity and efficiency.

At KMA, we work alongside the employer, HR, and the individual to ensure a transparent and successful return to work. All our Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants are experienced Occupational Therapists whom will tailor a return to work plan with cost-effective benefits for the employer, and provide expert intervention to the individual.
